AI hype is everywhere. We’re collectively trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t. So a lot is going on and it can definitely feel scary sometimes - at least it does to me. I’ve caught myself trying to make predictions on where this will lead and where it won’t - but after reading Cedric’s article I’m trying to stop that. When I catch myself doing it, I try to redirect my attention. Nobody knows what will happen. Experts are historically very very bad at predicting the future. So I have to be honest with myself: I just don’t know. Yet there still is a way to make sense of things: Ignore all opinions - even your own - and try to find as many detailed reports as you can and try to understand what this truly tells you.
